"Laceration are a Scottish based three piece death metal band. 2010 was a good year for Laceration with gigs in Perth, Edinburgh and Aberdeen and the release of a four track EP - 'Condemned To Torture'. Next year Laceration are going out of their way to continue pushing our name with gigs already confirmed in Glasgow and plans to record a full length album by the end of the year. Music can be bought at www.laceration.bandcamp.com. Merch can be bought at www.laceration.bigcartel.com."

This is good stuff, but;
it's not hlaf as good as the "Condemned To Torture"-EP. The vocalist doesn't show his real power, just here and there, but mainly the vocals aren't half as good as the vocals for CTT. The guitars are good, but (I think it's because of the recording) the don't sound as good anymore, but the style of playing hasn't really changed (I fucking love this style between technical, slamming and brutal stuff!). Laceration is one of my long-time favorite bands with the CTT-EP and I hope they will put out one CD with those sounds again. They are unbelievable good, but this Promo hasn't reached the previous EP by far. I hope they will get back to old standards. ^^
